We realize this might be confusing to some, but the new website has the home team listed first in all Team vs Team occurrences—sorry, this is something that we can’t currently change. We know that it’s always been the opposite in previous years and almost all American baseball teams do it Away Team vs Home Team. Our new website template is based on a European model, and we can’t change that currently. ~CBL Committee
The schedules for all teams and all divisions are now available. We have added some new capability to subscribe to one or more of your child’s or children’s team calendars.
You can browse around and try subscribing now, or you can wait for the tutorial which should be available in the next day or two. You can browse to https://www.championbaseball.org/schedules/ to have a look.
Please keep in mind, these schedules will most likely change during the regular season due to rain-outs and other circumstances. So, you need to check back regularly. Subscribing to the calendars will be the easiest way to stay on top of these changes, as the changes will be pushed immediately to your device (phone, tablet, or computer). Teams have been selected, and rosters have been given to coaches. You should be hearing from a coach this week, and practices will start based on the coach’s schedule. Our first games should begin the weekend after Easter. ~CBL Committee
We will be officially closing 2017 Registration Sunday March 5th at Midnight. If you haven’t registered yet, or know of someone else who would like to, please get these done this weekend. We will be working on team selections this week, and hope to have that completed by the weekend of the 11th.
We will be having in person registration Saturday, February 25th from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Bob Jones Academy Auditorium for anyone who would like to see some of our Committee members in person before the season begins. ~CBL Committee
